Arrives in August a new opportunity for budding writers to showcase their talent. Part fact, these days the literary contest "Stories Mantua", organized by the library and by the City of Roverbella, in collaboration with the librogusteria "The think-of Mantua. The literary competition is dedicated to young people aged 18 to 35 years, and will be divided into two sections: one dedicated to children in the country, the other for those from across the province. Objective: To find young talents who are able to free the imagination to re-interpret the spirit of Virgil in new and fresh way, inventing a "legend of Mantua." Only requirement for participants to use at least three of the 18 key - words that recall the spirit of Mantua, and mention three places on the list decided by the organizers. Here are the selected references: Canedole of Old Rice Mill, Library Teresian Sparafucile house, castle of Castiglione Mantovano, closed Governolo, crocodile of Grace, Court of Pellaloco great river Mincio, Fossa Gardesana (Rio Foséta) cage Piazza Sordello, Mantova Fish, Pieve di Canedole, Sala dei Giganti Palazzo Te, Villa Gobio in Roverbella. The items are to be inserted instead: afa, bank, boat, bicycle, Biolcati, butter, Galaverna, wheat, wetlands, milk, pike, mustard, fog, garden, poplar, rice, oak, mosquito, pumpkin. The original text can not exceed a thousand words. All aspiring writers will have until August 31 to hand in their stories, which will be sent to the email address bibliotecaroverbella@gmail.com.
